Mark Isselhardt - Vice President
Mark grew up in Bennington, Vermont and was introduced to the concept of nurturing a communities’ “sense of place” through the practical work of historic preservation through his mother’s significant contributions to local and statewide work. He has lived in Elmore with his wife and two children for eight years. Having both children attend the Elmore School was a truly remarkable experience and one that helped Mark form many connections to the people and spaces within the community. Mark draws on degrees in forest management and plant biology and twenty-five years of experience worked with sugar makers in his capacity as the Maple Specialist with University of Vermont Extension.
