Lake Elmore Ice Out

Try your hand at guessing when the ice will leave Lake Elmore. This is an annual tradition going back decades. This year, we’re bringing the tradition online so folks that can’t make it to the Store can still participate. The winner(s) take 50% of the ticket sales and the other 50% goes to the Elmore Community Trust and the Lake Elmore Association. See below for full rules. The Rules

1) Guessing commences on 3/14/2026. Guessing ends on March 30th (or when the ice goes out).

2) One purchased “guess” give the purchaser one date.

3) The “Ice Out” date is determined by an independent jury of Elmore residents that are not participating in the event.

4) The winner(s) will receive 50% of the proceeds from ticket sales. The other 50% will be donated to the Elmore Community Trust and the Lake Elmore Association

5) Winners will be notified by email.
